About Me

As a registered and accredited member of the BACP, I have over 20 years experience of counselling and adhere to the BACP code of ethics (www.bacp.co.uk).

My experience has been gained by working with Mind BLMK (mental health charity), the secondary education system (ages 13-19), the judicial system as well as the health service.

My original training/diploma was in the Person-Centred model.  On attendance of numerous courses, I have gone on to develop an integrative style focussing on a relational way of working and now adopt a flexible approach, seeking to match the needs of the individual client.

I have a particular interest in ACT (Acceptance and Commitment) Therapy which incorporates psycho-education as well as acceptance, mindfulness and elements of CBT.

My way of working can help with:

Stress, anxiety, anger, depression, bereavement/loss, relationship issues, self esteem, trauma.

It can help you see things more clearly, feel more in control and help build a more fulfilling life.
